Scroll down to find the video, it will show what my thought process is while posing dolls and action figures for my stories.   It’s a skill I’m always trying to improve upon.  For those of you that are also trying to improve this skill, checking out other doll photos and their posing skills helps me see what’s possible, and it can help you as well. 

One of the most eclectic Flickr groups I joined was ‘Toys’: https://www.flickr.com/groups/toys/pool/  which has all kinds of action figures, dolls, Legos, you name it.  The posing abilities for some of the members is phenomenal, especially when working with figures with hardly any articulation.
