I really like your video tutes! Of course I like your reading ones too–it’s nice to learn how others do it. Some of your suggestions have been a lot of help to me regarding action figures and building scenes and furniture. I still have tons of things to build and I hope to use some of your tips.

I have not bad the best luck with the silver contact paper but I did find at Wally World silver metallic aluminum foil HVAC duck tape for sealing vents. It’s only 1.88″ wide but this stuff really sticks! And it’s good from -20 to 260F. It’s about $8 for a roll but it should last a looong time. So far I’ve used about 6″ worth out of 50 yds, and it does NOT come loose like the contact paper continues to do.

I look forward to more of your most excellent tutes.

Thanks Kathy! I used the silver duck tape for a shower door edges and it does work great. It is a nice alternative to silver contact paper for some objects that need to have a chrome finish. Thanks for reading and your comment. JATMAN

Johanna~ I have always been blown away by your creativity and have loved your tutorials, but the audio versions are great! They have been done as professionally sounding as any I’ve seen and you have a great audio voice for them!
I am simply amazed at your profound creativity!

Thanks for sharing it with everyone! 🙂

I really prefer the tutorials with your voice audio, it is easier to understand the concepts. I have always preferred the photo tutorials more, but this may have changed my mind! Awesome job! I am working on a modern Fashion Royalty airplane, and your tutorials are great inspiration.

Thanks so much Connor, Love the idea of an airplane. I tried to make one for ‘Core Security’, but the rounded ceilings and circular windows were too challenging to construct with the materials I had.

I’ll have to try again some day. I wish you the best of luck with yours!

Cool Diorama. Like the voice-over format.

How do you store your diorama pieces once your finished with them?

I store all my furniture in cabinets, and my walls are flattened out and presses together in the corner of my room. It’s an organized mess in my room.

Thanks so much for your post.

I prefer the written ones. I can go my own pace, check in, check out, do something else (like leaving this comment) without missing anything.

BUT I think the video makes us all feel a bit closer to you in a way. I like the human voice behind your work!

Thanks so much Danielle! I’ll be making written ones when it’s much too long for a video, and videos for shorter tutorials because they’re fun and accessible. More tutorials coming soon! JATMAN

Aww, thanks so much Danielle. I’ll probably continue to put both formats out depending on what the topic is. The kitchen tutorial was so long I had to do written, the video would have been way too memory intensive. Thanks for commenting. More coming! JATMAN
