Claudia & Gerard Episode 10 VIDEO Is Up!

I’m posting slower now, it’s taking me too long to get back to filming again.  I’ll get the story for Episode 10 up as soon as I can.  I have lots of new photos below to tide you over for now.  Thanks for your patience! 

I experienced some weird page errors on my pages that show all my female dolls so I had to redo them.  Click on the button below to see the two new pages that have separated the Integrity Toys girls from the others manufacturers.    I’m also planning on doing a complete re-do to my 1:6 scale tutorial since so much has changed since I last posted one. I struck GOLD on EBay with two holy grail Fashion Royalty dolls I missed out on getting.  I can only afford their heads and since I have bodies to match these two girls are now actresses in my guild: introducing Adele Petite Robe Classique Jour and Veronique Little Day Ensemble:

What an up and down week. On the upside:  I got a ton of sewing doing for new bedding, yea!  On the downside, I really wore myself out doing it.  Photos will come later after I recharge a bit.   I’m moving along with making future episodes of this story, so I’m still on my posting schedule.    Enjoy the video, next week’s episode will be fun.  Thanks so much for reading and visiting my site.

Claudia & Gerard Episode 8 STORY Is Up!

This week I’m on a big sewing project to make a bunch of new bedding for future dioramas.  I wore myself out just trying to cut, iron, and prepare the pillowcases, sheets, comforters, and headboard pieces I’m going to sew later today.  I didn’t think a sewing project would be another great physical therapy session, but because I’m a work-a-holic when it comes to… everything, like a dog with a bone, I won’t quit until it gets done.    I’ll post photos of the bedding once I’m finished.   

This story is just getting more and more interesting since I get to really delve into the lives of all my previous  ‘minor’ characters that I never gave a back story to before.  You’ll see some of that in this week’s story with Ricardo Reyes, the dead father is back in some flashbacks.   

To say it’s been a challenge to find more dolls and action figures to play current characters when they were young for flashbacks is an understatement.  There is a HUGE shortage of children and teen dolls and action figures in the market.  It’s painfully hard to find child’s heads, bodies, (especially for any race but white), or clothing and I wish that would change because they add so much to my stories.  So finding ‘young’ versions of my characters has been challenging and I have to make do with what I can find.   I have photos below of the double casting I’ve had to do for several characters to tell their sordid pasts.   I’m still waiting for 2 head sculpts that are on backorder for Juan Carlos and Jose Luis Reyes, so I can’t tell yet if they’ll work.

Claudia & Gerard Episode 8 VIDEO trailer is up!

This story is literally saving my life right now. I’m working so hard to set up dioramas and film new scenes that I’m ever so slowly getting better and using it as physical therapy at home.  I don’t have any stamina yet, still can’t walk across my parking lot to get to my car without winding myself.  But I’m able to move around my house turtle-slow and take care of my needs so my poor mother doesn’t have to wait on me hand and foot anymore, so that’s fabulous! She’s loving that. 

The good news for you dear readers is that I’m staying on schedule and there should be NO delays in weekly postings of Video, then Story.  It’s a lot to read, so the work is also on you to keep up. Sorry, not sorry.    I hope it continues to be enjoyable and entertaining.  It’s going to get sooooo dramatic, sexy and sometimes crazy as you get deeper into this family’s personal life.  Keep checking back every week for updates, and sign up for the email news, letter if you haven’t already so you know exactly when I posted.

Claudia & Gerard Episode 7 STORY is up!

Episode 7 is now up, click on the button above.  I’m slowly creeping at a snail’s pace at recovering from my condition as well as getting episodes of this story done.  But since I’m staying far enough ahead (I’m working on episode 15 now), there will be no delays in the weekly posting of the story, so yea!  I really want to keep posting weekly since it’s so long it’s going to take over a year to get it all out there at this weekly pace.  If I delay… I’ll be working on this forevah.   And though I’m so loving bringing my former first novel to visual life, I have other stories as well to tell.   

Speaking of my former novel Claudia & Gerard, because there are so many episodes now with the doll story version of it, I’ve wandered way off the original material with all the cast and characters.  The novel was mostly only about the two main characters with some interaction with the others.  Now I can get into backstories and really fill everyone in.  I have an inkling of what it feels like for novelist or others that take a book or movie and turn into a TV series which expands greatly on the material.  It’s so much fun to bring these characters to life.  I highly recommend if you have any old writing projects you’ve given up on, to try doing doll stories or anything visual like this of the project to see if it goes to new places.  You’ll be delighted by the surprise of it all.  I have so many other failed screenplays and two other failed novels… hmmmm, not sure if they’re all as fully adaptable to doll stories or not, mostly because the rest are science fiction with aliens and I don’t have alien dolls, but I’ll see what can be salvaged or converted to planet earth stories.    Thanks again for reading!! Claudia & Gerard Episode 6 STORY Is Up!

I’m working hard every day to move around and recover from my illness.  It took me a couple of weeks, but I made a new diorama the photos are below.  This bedroom will be in future episodes of Claudia & Gerard.  I hope you like this episode.   

You’ll probably notice that I decided to use my favorite filter “Army of Splat” from Filter Forge V10 on the sex photos.  Unfortunately, my dolls having sex, look awkwardly like dolls, not humans.  I’m always trying to wrap the reader into the story so they forget they’re 1/6 figures and start to see them as human.  Naked 1/6 figures have so many join lines, and lack realistic sexual body parts so it’s almost impossible to pass them as human. Plus the Integrity Toys girls I use don’t have the articulation to pose realistically in more than a few positions. So the filter turns the awkwardness into erotic art.  You get the point of what they’re doing, without being distracted.  There’s nothing worse than watching a movie or TV show and start to notice the actors acting, it throws you out of the story, and you get distracted by the real people performing their jobs. I didn’t want that here. Hope this method works for you.   Thanks so much for reading!
